You are correct sjonnie. Its seems the Fall Gelb enabled lastly in jsgme regains the same GunMinPitch figures as in HSFX 5.01 .I thought that the Fall Gelb technics was just the Expert mode with the Puma figures adjusted but I'd need someone else to confirm that. Expert figure of 10 should mean the axis vehicles would not fire at ground units ,exception maybe firing up at units on higher ground. The std & max pitch figures havent changed. Copied from FallGelb technics with Expert/HSFX5.01 in () to compare. Fall Gelb -JSGME [SdKfz6Flak37] Description SdKfz6 Halftrack with mounted Flak 18 37mm. GunMinPitch -3.0 ( Expert mode GunMinPitch 10.0) (HSFX 5.01 GunMinPitch -3.0) GunStdPitch 0.0 GunMaxPitch +80.0 [DemagFlak] Description SdKfz10-4 Halftrack with mounted Flak 38. GunMinPitch -3.0 (Expert mode GunMinPitch 10.0) (HSFX 5.01 GunMinPitch -3.0) GunStdPitch 0.0 GunMaxPitch +89.5 [ZIS5_AA] Description USSR's ZIS-5 truck car with mounted flak 25mm. GunMinPitch +10.0 (Expert mode GunMinPitch +25.0) (HSFX 5.01 GunMinPitch +10.0) GunStdPitch +26.0 GunMaxPitch +85.0 The 37mm halftrack has wiped out the entire allied tank force. I understand from what you're saying this should have been impossible?

Currently the pitch allows the 37mm halftrack to fire at ground units. Its would be the same situation if we ran this campaign using only standard HSFX 5.01.
I would say that this highlights the need for commanders to review the files before campaign start to gather necessary information on each units capabilities & their weaknesses & possibly correct any imbalances found.
This is a steep learning curve for me also.

No, the 37 mm halftrack wasn't . It has been the infantry and the stationary 37 mm flak with the help of some well aimed artillery shells and very few surrender, I'm afraid. In fact the mobile flak most successfull action has been against enemy airframes and enemy defensive fuel drops.
I agree on Ikey's input.

This is a steep learning curve for me also. I couldn't agree more and this is exactly what I did. I agreed to the campaign particulars & I built the template for UP 2.01. My "learning curve" consists mainly of catching up with the technical changes caused by a switch to a different version.

For most of us if not all, the learning curve has been and already is a fact. Things that were written in stone in older campaigns where the technic file was just a rumour, went down in this one and had to be re-organized in a different way to make them work in the way they had to. Many missions ended with a result nobody expected, good or bad. From the good ones, we took the experience out to do it again and even to improve the results. From the bad ones, we also took the experience out not to repeat it again and change the way it has been done to achieve a better result. Nothing has to do with the knowledge or not of the technic file. The expereince comes from the ground engagements and from the practice and tests in the FMB with the same settings you play the campaign.

I notice the stats against my name for the 2300hr mission show no bombs dropped & 0 for bombs hit ( instead of 0.0%). I attempted to bomb targets using auto mode & received the 'Bombs away ' message .

Ikey,
Sometimes the eventlog does not record individual pilot gunnery stats properly. That's why the SEOW stats say "possibly incomplete" on relevant tables.
Cheers, 4S

I notice that since about 5 missions, morale of our troops drops off very easily.
The units I'm talking about are surrounded by FLAK, ambulances and HQ units and all of them are supplied 100%.
That should ensure morale stays excellent. Indeed, one mission it's excellent +1 but the next mission it's down to good +1.
Anyone know why this happens?

This might not be a bug.

OK this means it's due to the tactical situation then?
