I am currently looking for a new combat sim home.
I have been flying WWII combat sims for years, Warbirds, AH I & II , Fighter Ace , Janes, and all MSCFS.
I belonged to JG26 in Warbirds. I am seriously considering IL2 1946. Do you guys fly there ?.
I have just been browsing your boards and 1 thing struck me.
Flying smart seems to be top priority for JG26. My priority has always been to return to base.It doesn't matter to me who gets the kill as long as it isn't a friendly being killed. Flying organized has always been a blast for me.If I had a storch I'd pony up after rtb and go get bailed buddies. I'm after the realism or as close to it as I can get.
I'm new to the hyperlobby thing, how many people can fly in an arena ? I've been in arenas with 700+ .

S! looking (your nick? ) unless all of our members from US and Canada do not have IL-2 1946, we fly IL-2/FB/AEP/PF on V4.05 in our internal campaign missions. Nevertheless those of us (most of us) who allready could bought 1946 play it in Hyperlobby servers (COOP´s Dogfights etc.) as well. Hyperlobby is mandatory for flying IL-2 series online, only a few cyber pilots in the community using Ubi-Servers or allseeing eye-prog, so far as I know. You can download Hyperlobby-client here: hyperfighter.sk/We are using Teamspeak for communication. For other usefull sites check here: forums.ubi.com/eve/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=51910959Few words concerning your remark: To come back in one piece (it means: You and your plane) and to take care on your wingman is still the primary goal in our internal campaigns for us as well. Being outnumbered several times by allied airforce this goal is hard to achieve sometimes. So if you would like to help us in those unfriendly skies, you are more than welcome ! Please check our homebase at www.freewebs.com/jagdgeschwader26/especially our "code of conduct". If you agree with it, please drop a line here in the forum or contact me or another JG26-pilot in Hyperlobby, so we can make an appointment for a short skill-test which is described in jg26.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=recruitingOffice&action=display&thread=1106665751Hope this helps, looking forward to hear from you...
