HI guys, it's been a while. After Badger's email, I have replied and will thus most like join Sunday's mission/campaign.
Now, with everything installed (and half tested), what am I to expect in EXPERT MODE? A lot must have changed since 2 (or is it 4) years .... right?
Cheers

Hey Sparta,
Great to see you still kicking. Hope life's been treating you well. I'll look for you in the skies whenever I can make it in the campaign and other events.

S~ Greetings Sparta.....
Welcome back and good to see ya again!
Expert Mode has some of the following effects per Charlie Chaps post from the 242 Squadron:
It will also slim down the information provided by your speedbar to hopefully instill the usage of the actual guages...which can be "engaging" nyuk nyuk........ so when flying get comfy with reading all of the available altimeters in the game.
I'm sure there is a little more to the expert mode and Badger can probably add a few things.
Alsoo, we need to get you brought up to speed with navigation by beacon if not already capable and an introduction to the new radar systems.
EDIT: I just remembered another heads up..... the text messages in game have been streamlined as well... i.e. - gear up/down, which means you need to become accustomed to looking at the red/green gear status lights determining position, things like that.

Jobbo, good to see you're still here... As for navigation by beacon and radar systems, this is definitely something new for me. I'll work on my take-off and landing skills by Sunday. The Mrs. will be in Spain for the long weekend and writer has to take care of the kids... So, Sunday: ALL IN BED BY 8PM . Let's see how that works out.
