Hi ppl, as you will have seen, we were not there last sunday. We were watching disaster strike in the european soccer championships...... Since I think this was the last mission anyway, can we re- run sundays mission coming sunday, to let the campaign end with a "bang"? That would be really nice

Interesting idea that some of the guys might be interested in...
I'm not the guy to respond on whether or not a campaign can backtrack....the stats and database would all be affected... and if some of that is manual work it can be very tedious and time consuming... perhaps _5 or 4shades can weigh in on that.... perhaps the thing to do is simply plan and run an additional mission.
I know some of the guys on our side are contemplating a campaign extension... which could be a topic of discussion in a TS FallGelb campaign wrap-up meeting. If we were looking to accomplish a Dunkirk Evacuation segment I would envision the red side resetting elements deeper towards the coast and modifying the current map slightly. There were only a few flak guns at Dunkirk when we were nosing around there.
Personally, my participation will be limited for the coming weeks so that I may tackle various real life things that have stacked up over the course of the past year.

I'm not personally in favor of running the mission again. I stayed up all night knowing it was the last mission, built the mission, flew it then analyzed and uploaded which takes a long time. To erase the results because of the Allies choosing to watch the soccer instead wouldn't really be fair to all who showed up. If only a message requesting a postponement was made we could of held off and ran it a week later.
In any case if you want to have the mission file to run it for fun then I have no problem with that.
I would like to collect as many of the mission files together to release as a co-op campaign pack but the problem is it will need the now 'old' version of 4.10.1 with HSFX5 to run the map. This France map is now deleted from HSFX6.
There was talk of a gathering this Sunday night at the usual mission time for an airborne get together to celebrate the end of the campaign by ANY participants.
Cheers, 5

OK point taken, we don't do a re- run. I will push for an airborne get- together tonight, although it will be without me as my system woes persist... It was actually "just a thought" to give the campaign the finish it deserves.
