We are about to write history folks! Never before there were 100 missions hosted in a single SEOW campaign! We are about to do so, tomorrow will be the night! I hereby congratulate us all by achieving this milestone! AND i thank 4Shades, Badger, Sjonnie and ourselves that we held out for so long! ;D

Yes, this is by far the longest single-sector campaign I have seen. And it is one of the heaviest and most ambitious campaigns I have seen. Badger deserves praise, as do all the commanders who have stepped up to the plate over the past 99 missions. The great thing is that it is organic - it grows according to the skill and creativity of the participants.
Cheers, 4S

Great record! The SEOW concept is such an addictive reality enhancer. It is the summit of immersion, especially when combined with HSFX. It keeps people coming back and I think it's one of the best things that ever happened to the IL-2 community. Thank you 4Shades & co for putting the system together. Thank you to all organizers and participants for bringing it to life!

S~: Currently we are on mission # 108 for planning it is May 19, 1940 0300hours. We have run 89 combat missions and 18 clock advances (time skips). It would be interesting to see where we are historically in comparison to the German Advance. 11 more missions and we would have flown 100 combat missions that has to be some kind of record.
Big Salute to all the participants and planners for a most enjoyable IL2 experience!

It would be interesting to see where we are historically in comparison to the German Advance. IRL Rotterdam fell on may 14th and the dutch surrendered on the 15th. Belgium held out a bit longer according to a wiki: "Invasion of Belgium by Nazi Germany (see Battle of Belgium) started on May 10, 1940 under the operational plan Fall Gelb and formed part of the greater Battle of France together with invasions of the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The Belgians put up a short-lived resistance and it took 18 days only before the country was subdued. " So, you are behind schedule to take Rotterdam and ahead of schedule by having taken Brussels.

Last night we hosted the 121 mission so we have now flown 100 combat mission in total. We started the campaign at 0500hours on May 10, 1940 and as of this posting we are 0500 May20, 1940 so we have flown 10 virtual days @ 2 hour increments.
Congratulations to all the participants that have made this an enjoyable SEOW COOP campaign experience. Please share this with people that you know in the IL2 community so they can expand this for future participants and campaigns. Everyone is a part of this so make sure that you all congratulate yourselves.
Thanks, Badger

Congratulations Badger, to JG26 and all participants for reaching this fantastic SEOW milestone.
Its great to see it still in full swing with good turnouts, a dynamic battlefield with many and varied combat missions.
I personally, have thoroughly enjoyed the campaign to date and look forward to completing it to it's full extent.
Cheers, Hawk 5
