I think that having variable winds is very nice & realistic. However, with the exception of a couple of days in autumn, we never have have crosswinds of 15+ m./s. For the next mission we are facing a 19m/s crosswind over Ypenburg. 21m/s at Maubeuge. This cannot be the kind of realism we want because it is impossible to do a take-off in a 21m crosswind. In real life I think the max for an airliner is 15m/s crosswind or else the airport closes. That's why I think someone should look into it and reduce the amount of crosswind on a spring day in Holland/ Belgium/ France which should be rather like 0.5 to 1 m/s on average.

For Vlissingen it was 4.6 m/s wind with rain.
A Diamond Katana DV20, has a maximum crosswind component of 20 kts or 37.04km/h.
Drive the thing into the wind and you´ll be fine. And if not don´t plot any flights.

SEOW measures wind speed by km/h and not by m/s like the FMB, the ratio is 3,6. So 21 km/h crosswind equals to 5,83 m/s. I made the same mistake at first.
