I have a rather aesthetical problem with the map we fly in the Fall Gelb campaign. Naturally, game loads lower resolution textures for the parts of the map farther away from you. However, on this map, it looks terrifying as it completely stands out. The higher you go, of course, the worse it becomes as you see farther. It is nice in a choppy circle, but outside that... well... look: img22.imageshack.us/i/screenhunter01mar190910.png/img854.imageshack.us/i/screenhunter02mar190911.png/img600.imageshack.us/i/screenhunter03mar190911.png/Any idea how to solve this? Tried landgeom=3, landdetail=3, visibilitydistance=3, combined with the Perfect map textures mod, but didn't help.

I had exactly the same issue and in an effort to resolve I found that I had HardwareShaders=0 set.
Changed this to 1 and all looks good for me now!!
The section of my conf.ini in question now looks like this:
HardwareShaders=1
Shadows=2 Specular=2 SpecularLight=2 DiffuseLight=2 DynamicalLights=1 MeshDetail=2 VisibilityDistance=3
Sky=2 Forest=3 LandShading=3 LandDetails=2
LandGeom=2 TexLarge=1 TexLandQual=3 TexLandLarge=1
VideoSetupId=3 Water=4 Effects=1 ForceShaders1x=0
PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15 PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0 [QMB] PlaneList=1
Hope this helps!!

Thanks, this works. Had to set rendering mode to OpenGL and fight with the game constantly resetting hardwareshaders to 0, but now it looks A WHOLE LOT better. Thank you again

Wow, I've got the map looking like that as well. But I thought it was normal!
