UP 2.01 and new 4.101m Patch

The new 4.101m patch is now available and there is a simple way to get this patch into your Ultrapack installation. Now this assumes that you have already done your Ultrapack Update & restore function and have the 00_Stock_4.10m in your JSGME.


1. Download the patch here and save to your desktop. Patch can be found here

2. Open your JSGME and make sure you disable your MODS move all of them to the left.

3. Open your main IL2 Directory. Inside your directory you will find a folder called jsgmemods. Open the jsgmemods folder and you will find a folder called 00_Stock_4.10m you are going to rename this folder 00_Stock_4.101m. Now close the directory.

4. Double click on the 4.101m patch fix installer that you downloaded. When the installer opens it will have your default path / IL2 1946. You must browse and direct it to the path that has the jsgmemods folder name that you just changed. On my computer ithe path is C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\jsgmemods\00_Stock_4.101m
. But your path might be entirely different so direct it to the correct path. Now run the executable you downloaded.

5. Now go back to your JSGME Icon and enable the 00_Stock_4.101m in your JSGME. Only put that in same procedure as you have done with the 4.10 before. Start up your game and you should see the game version of 4.101m in the lower left had corner of your menu screen when it is loading.

Ya I cant get ultrapack 2.01 to run in cmd...it seems to always freeze up and wont continue when doing a certain file (fb_3do21.SFS). Ive tried everything to get this to work...be much appreciated if someone could help me out b/c I cant get the v4.10 to show up in my JSGME b/c of this and im trying to update to v4.101m...

I did not install the 4.101 patch. I suspect that was (part of) the problem with the SEOW mission on sunday. I just ran the aut-updater that comes with the Ultrapack. And I did notice it was loading some 4.101 files.
